Strictly the Best

This piece was commissioned by my good friend Walter Quick, Jr. when he was art director at the time at VP Records. Being that it was the first album cover in the Strictly the Best series to ever be illustrated, Walt thought it would be cool to do a Caribbean version of Ernie Barnes iconic Sugar Shack painting. Or as many from our generation refers to it as, the 'Good Times' painting.
